An installation that was on exhibit in Two Midnights in a Jug, by NovelSpace. I transformed authentic vintage suitcases into symbolic illustrations, representational of the personal journeys that each character made in the novel, The Grapes of Wrath, by John Steinbeck. It tells their personal stories in a personal space, the suitcase. It literally illuminates their stories to everyone. Photos by Christina Alford and Lizzy Rockwell
The tree was sculpted out of DAS clay around a metal wire armature.
I cut out paper silhouettes of the car and road, I also used book pages to create the mountains. The paper was then glued to canvas and backlit.

Created a faux stained glass panel using special paint on plexiglass and added a frame around it in the suitcase.
